About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at BigIdea Technology Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop: Create scalable and efficient web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other related technologies.
  • Front-End Development: Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Openlayers, ESRI Javascript SDK, Angular, and React.
  • Back-End Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs, manage databases, and ensure data security and integrity using Java-based back-end technologies.
  • Database Management: Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL to design, develop, and optimize database queries.
  • Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and efficient version control.
  • Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code and smooth functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, technical processes, and project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java technologies with working knowledge in product development.
  • Languages & Frameworks: Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, Openlayers, and ESRI JS SDK.
  • Database Management: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL.
  • Web Technologies: Familiarity with web development standards including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and responsive design.
  • APIs & Microservices: Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
  • Tools & Platforms: Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools (Maven, Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
