Backend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our financial platform.

This role involves designing and developing big data systems using technologies like Apache Spark and Hive, as well as integrating with NetSuite APIs and developing financial tools such as reconciliation, ledgers, and balance matching.

The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting big data systems, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering an environment that creates high-quality code. They will also be passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together.

The mission of this role is to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency, and quality. Our team works closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and prioritize individual projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop big data systems using Apache Spark and Hive
  • Integrate with NetSuite APIs and develop financial tools
  • Mentor and train junior engineers
  • Foster an environment that creates high-quality code
  • Work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Prioritize individual projects and manage deadlines

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience in architecting big data systems
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering high-quality code
  • Passion for building an open financial system
  • Experience integrating with NetSuite APIs and developing financial tools

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL
  • Experience working with finance and accounting teams
  • Performance tuning of big data systems
  • Kyriba integration experience
  • Fintech domain experience
