Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our Metering and Encoding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing software that runs on embedded devices, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, reliable, and cost-effective software solutions for embedded devices.
  • Write unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve field-reported issues.
  • Develop rapid technical prototypes for early customer validation of new technologies.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, and scrum leaders on the progress of assignments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded software development, test automation, and SDK/API development.
  • Experience with C/C++/Python programming languages and tools like Windows, Linux, Shell scripting, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux OS, commands, shell scripting, and JSON.
  • Agile scrum experience in application development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of GitLab/Bitbucket and experience with Android/iOS development, AWS, and ML/AI is a plus.
