Job Summary

The Applications Lead - SAP S/4 HANA FICO is a key individual contributor role responsible for solutioning SAP applications at Victoria's Secret through designing and configuring business processes to deliver business capabilities. This role engages with business partners to understand requirements, facilitates business workshops, defines a solution blueprint which maps the AS-IS and TO-BE business processes, works with SMEs from other applications to define integration points and dependencies, provides functional and operational oversight to application function teams globally on multiple projects, and ensures that business and global SAP Center of Excellence objectives and strategies are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business workshops to elicit business pain points and define high-level and low-level SAP solution design/blueprint documents. Provide necessary functional and technical inputs to SAP Development teams. Provide solution direction and guidance to functional and technical leads evaluating latest industry trends and needs of business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

• Drive operational excellence and quality control by adopting best practices to minimize incidents, benchmark against the global leaders in peer industry, stay current with latest solutions and tools, and provide functional leadership to teams.

• Responsible for grooming talent, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring junior functional analysts. Provide inputs to the manager to the functional analysts to help them in defining the development plan.

• Drive innovation by leading efforts to create Proof of Concepts and working prototypes to drive adoption of technology and solution per Information technology guidelines. Should be seen as a thought leader amongst peers.

Requirements

• Preferably the candidate should be from Commerce Background CA/ICWA/ACS/ or MBA Finance background.

• Role needs thorough understanding of finance processes and applying them in SAP.

• 12+ years of SAP FICO with 5+ years of experience in retail environment.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing S/4HANA projects is must.

• Integration knowledge of SAP FICO, SAP PS, Ariba, Concur, and SAP CAR is needed to perform effectively in this role.

• The candidate should have led workshop sessions with business stakeholders to build high-level functional design and convert into detailed low-level design documents.

• Prefer to have an understanding of development process in SAP HANA, UI5/FIORI development, and exposure to HANA Enterprise Cloud Architecture.

• Demonstrated progression in roles in previous organization.

• Extensive experience in working in cross-functional teams in a geographically distributed environment.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Solid presentation skills.

• Highly self-driven, collaborative, motivated, and attentive to detail.

• Ability to manage complexity in ambiguous situations.

• Ability to solve a problem while exhibiting good judgment.

• Ability to take decisions by bringing appropriate people and information together in a timely and effective manner.

• Ability to influence technology decisions by applying thought leadership.

• We are NOT looking for candidates who have worked in Pre-Sales. He/She should be hands-on and detailed-oriented.
