Job Description

Emeritus offers a challenging role as Financial Manager in Finance. We seek an experienced professional to join our organization.

This position entails managing financial statements, transfer pricing workings, bank payments, AP invoice booking, and payroll for our Indian entity. You will also coordinate with internal teams for AP and Taxes related activities, participate in statutory audits, due diligences, internal audits, and manage the FAR (Fixed Asset Register) and reconcile it with books of accounts.

You will be responsible for monthly book closing, which includes BRS, invoice booking, accruals, capitalization, etc. Additionally, you will review vendor ledgers and aging on a monthly basis, prepare cash flow projections, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's Financial statement.

As a Financial Manager, you will develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal control. You will evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy, manage end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations.

Our ideal candidate is a CA holder with 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment, preferably with global exposure. Experience in start-ups that have achieved scale, working in technology-enabled space, is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate ability to handle coordination with multiple internal/external teams and possess excellent working skills of MS – Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The candidate should also have knowledge of IndAS/IFRS and ERP environment (specifically SAP, COUPA, DarwinBox). The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate complex financial concepts and data to non-financial stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA mandatory
  • 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment, preferably with global exposure
  • Experience in start-ups which have achieved scale, working in technology-enabled space is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle coordination with multiple internal/external teams
  • Knowledge of IndAS/IFRS
