Business Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to fill this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing business data models in all their forms, including conceptual models, logical data models, and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business information models in various formats.
  • Design and implement standardized data and analytics platform architecture.
  • Secure sensitive data and analytics assets by assessing security requirements and solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments using tools like business capability models.
  • Advise on effective data and analytics governance by suggesting actions under defined circumstances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop automation of platform deployment and update processes.
  • Document design decisions and develop solutions while adhering to existing guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate data modeling, UML class modeling, business analysis, and engagement with business subject matter experts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of databases, including Snowflake, SQL, Document, and/or MS Azure environment.
  • Combination of programming skills, data analysis, data modeling, DDD attributes, and other relevant areas.
  • Strong understanding of leadership, analytical, problem-solving, collaborative, and detail-oriented skills.
  • 8+ years of experience with SQL, Python, R, and 5-6 years of experience with Snowflake.
