Job Title: Data Quality Assurance Manager

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can lead and manage data quality assurance efforts within an organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures, databases, and data manipulation techniques. They will also be proficient in SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and validation.

As a Data Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data quality strategy aligned with organizational objectives. You will also define standards and best practices for data quality assurance processes and lead efforts to profile and analyze data across systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a data quality strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Define data quality standards and best practices
  • Lead data profiling and analysis efforts
  • Establish data quality assurance processes
  • Design and implement data quality checks and controls
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality
  • Generate regular reports on data quality metrics and trends
  • Maintain documentation on data quality issues and resolutions
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in data test automation, data comparison, and validation
  • Strong understanding of data structures, databases, and data manipulation techniques
  • Proficient in SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and validation
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of data quality initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve data quality issues
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
