Data Engineering Lead Position

\
  • Lead the development of complex pipeline solutions to address business needs by designing, developing, and delivering detailed process designs for day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain alignment with overall architecture and facilitate peer reviews to secure sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Oversee team activities, review and merge pull requests, manage delivery roadmaps, and track user story progress in JIRA boards.
  • Review releases and migration activities, conduct code reviews, serve as technical SME, and lead documentation efforts.
  • Proactively communicate updates to stakeholders and initiate/review architecture changes for continuous optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve high quality and timeliness of preclinical pipeline deliverables.
  • Maintain effective technical documentation and pipeline management aligned with standards.
  • Collaborate with other product teams and technical leads.
  • Develop training, mentoring, and coordination skills to effectively manage internal/external analysts.

Job Details:

The role requires close collaboration with the Preclinical Pipeline Lead to define roadmaps and delivery plans. Ensure timely execution, maintain documentation, and manage release communications.

Requirements:

\
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
  • 8+ years IT experience, 6+ years in Data Engineering on Big Data platforms.
  • Ability to work and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, communication, and Git workflow skills.
  • Expertise in Python, PySpark, Spark, Palantir Foundry Platform, and AI/ML concepts.
