This is a strategic position responsible for developing and managing large question banks, collaborating closely with subject matter experts to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality questions for assessments across various subjects
  • Create engaging content, including multiple-choice questions in general knowledge and current affairs
  • Question bank management:
  • Design and structure question banks; establish quality standards for writing and reviewing content
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal availability of items in assigned domains/subjects
  • SME management:
  • Define selection criteria and strategies
  • Monitor SME performance and quality
  • Train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects
  • Coordinate extensively with SMEs for all test development activities
  • Design tests in subjects of expertise and coordinate with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets
  • Support lead administrators in delivering projects and meeting organizational needs
  • Analyze exam results, generate reports, and provide insights to higher management

Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise in school subjects up to the 12th level as per NCERT syllabus
  • Broad understanding of the Indian education system and relevant boards
  • Experience in assessment and evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development
  • Excellent command over English (written and spoken) and Hindi (spoken)
