Job Title: Supply Chain PlanningJob Summary:

Thoucentric is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning professional to join our team. As a Supply Chain Planning expert, you will be responsible for building and executing strategies to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction on ongoing supply chain technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute account strategies and plans that leverage consulting team strengths.
  2. Lead a team working on multiple, geographically dispersed projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
  3. Deliver Supply Chain Planning Consulting engagements across various industries, sectors, and geographies, focusing on areas like Demand & Supply Planning, S&OP, Distribution Planning, MRP, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, and Network Optimization.
  4. Bring structure to unstructured environments, dealing with ambiguity, and leading teams to success in fast-paced environments.
  5. Assist clients in selecting, implementing, and adopting supply chain solutions.
  6. Provide functional and business process expertise on projects involving consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees.
  7. Manage cross-functional programs/projects involving multiple client stakeholders and vendors.
  8. Guide clients on industry best practices and process benchmarks.
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to consultants, managing their deliverables, and leading teams to achieve highest standards, project discipline, and accountability.
  10. Help build the Supply Chain practice at Thoucentric, contributing to company growth by participating in pre-sales activities, building new solutions/offering, and strengthening capabilities in the Supply Chain space.
  11. Create reusable assets to accelerate solution delivery.
  12. Juggle multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive manner.
  13. Act as a solution architect with expertise in supply chain planning technology and domain.
Requirements:
  • Strong educational background from reputable engineering and management schools.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, and inventory optimization.
  • Experience with at least two implementations using best-in-class supply chain software tools or custom-built supply chain planning applications involving advanced algorithms (AI/ML).
  • 3-15 years of work experience in Supply Chain Planning with technology exposure.
  • Flexibility to work on any supply chain technology, with appropriate training provided if needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, along with self-motivation to excel.
  • Meticulous planning skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to drive projects in a matrix management environment, influencing, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and openness with a focus on results orientation.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, with R, Python, and SQL knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach.
  • Interest in learning supply chain software tools.
