This role involves combining counseling expertise with proactive engagement to support student mental health. As a Psychologist, you will be part of a structured student wellness initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis.
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through the portal.
  • Undertake floor walks in hostels to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology is mandatory.
  • (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
  • Willingness to stay on campus.
