Job Opportunity:

The Legal Compliance Manager will be a key member of the Legal Department, working with highly skilled legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal and compliance solutions to the business.

This role requires a seasoned legal professional with [14/18] years' experience in a legal and compliance role. Essential skills include experience in managing technology and enterprise-wide compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage global compliance programs comprising seven pillars of corporate governance.
  • Lead investigations on various issues and negotiate remediations.
  • Contribute to Compliance & Integrity Plan development and reviews, preparing action plans, resolving problems, identifying trends, and implementing changes.
  • Maintain knowledge of key regulatory regimes applicable to the industry, including whistleblower regulations, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, anti-trust regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Analyze data using analytics and automation tools for risk evaluation and mitigation.
  • Review and improve employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct trainings to enhance the compliance program in line with industry standards.
  • Interpret new regulations by reviewing proposed legislation and laws.
  • Derive policy administration, trainings, and regular communications.
  • Effectively handle complaints and investigations and remediation processes.
  • Collaborate with functions like finance, HR, and sales to support business expansion.
  • Advise on public policy, working closely with the Government Relations team.
  • Support company positions by developing responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and enforcing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer with a JD degree and relevant experience as compliance counsel.
  • Preferrable: Additional qualifications like CA/CFA.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive report development experience and policy/procedure development in a multinational environment.
  • An interest in using technology for efficient program implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills relating to business processes, data, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Experience in public speaking and business presentation.
  • Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards.
  • Independent project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication skills.
  • Acceptability to innovative approach.
  • Handling change management.

Requirements:
