Game-Based Learning Designer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Game-Based Learning Designer.

The successful candidate will have the skills and expertise to design and develop high-impact learning solutions that incorporate gamification, simulation, and interactive content.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and immersive learning experiences that cater to diverse client organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing gamified behavioural learning solutions that drive employee engagement and retention
  • Customizing content based on in-depth analysis of learning needs with clients
  • Authoring content for learning games, group processes, and interactive case simulations
  • Writing scenarios, cases, and scripts for captivating and immersive learning experiences
  • Designing board games and virtual games for effective learning (serious games)
  • Creating learning programs rooted in behavioral science, focused on bringing lasting change in learners
  • Utilizing internal and external technology platforms to craft engaging virtual learning experiences

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Interest in behavioral skills development
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with high ambiguity
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Capacity to write, edit, and proof-read quality written content for various mediums
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

Preferred qualifications include any graduate with a BA/MA in Psychology or Information Design or Game Design or Communication. While prior experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory.
