Beauty Specialist

Fashion TV is seeking a skilled Beautician to join our team. As a key member of our salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beauty services to our clients, including hair cutting, coloring, and styling, as well as makeup application and skincare treatments.

• Hair Services: Create personalized hair treatments, including cutting, coloring, and styling, to meet clients' preferences.
• Makeup Services: Apply professional makeup for various occasions, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Skincare Services: Provide skin analyses and administer facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation, and masks, tailored to clients' skin types.
• Nail Care Services: Perform nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, with precision and creativity.
• Consultation and Recommendation: Consult with clients to recommend beauty products, techniques, and regimens based on their individual needs.
• Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques to enhance service offerings.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and personalized service.
• Salon Operations: Adhere to salon and spa policies, including appointment scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and harmonious salon environment.
• Continuing Education: Participate in continuing education and training to refine and expand beauty skills and knowledge.
• Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Beautician or similar role with a portfolio of work demonstrating hair, makeup, and skincare expertise.
• Hair Cutting and Coloring: Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment techniques for various hair types and textures.
• Makeup Application: Demonstrated skill in makeup application for different occasions, skin types, and tones.
• Skincare Analysis: Knowledge of skin analysis and effective facial treatments, including extraction and product application.
• Nail Care Services: Experience in providing nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, following industry standards and trends.
• Beauty Product Knowledge: Understanding of beauty product ingredients, usage, and recommendation for specific client needs.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to consult and engage effectively with clients.
• Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Salon Operations: Knowledge of salon and spa operations, including appointment scheduling, inventory management, and client recordkeeping.
• Flexibility: Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays as per client and salon requirements.
• Certification: Certification or training in cosmetology, esthetics, or a related field is a plus.
