**Job Description**

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all tax-related regulations and laws. Your primary duties will include:

  • In-charge of overall compliance operations of Thryve Digital LLP.
  • TDS – Monthly TDS payments, filing of quarterly return filings, generation and distribution of TDS certificates (Form 16/ 16A).
  • Transaction advisory for TDS applicability.
  • Advance tax - Preparing workings for Advance Tax and ensure quarterly payments.
  • Calculation of Depreciation as per Income tax.
  • Income tax return filing for Thryve and associated Gratuity trust.
  • Documentation & support for assessments and litigations.
  • Filing of Form 15CA & 15CB.
  • Filing of Equalization levy return.

You will also be responsible for ensuring GST compliance, including:

  • Filing Monthly returns of GST – GSTR 1 (Outward supplies) and GSTR 3B (Summary return).
  • Generation of E-way bills.
  • Application for LUT (Letter of undertaking) for zero-rated GST supplies.
  • GST Reverse charge compliances.
  • Ensure annual audit is completed and report filed (GSTR 9 & 9C), Filing of GST refund applications.
  • Transaction advisory for GST applicability.

Additionally, you will be responsible for SEZ compliance, including:

  • Regular compliances such as Monthly Performance Report (MPR), Quarterly Performance Report (QPR), Annual Performance Report (APR), Half-yearly Performance Report (HPR), Filing of SOFTEX and SERF forms.
  • Filing of Temporary removal requests, generating request IDs for Branch transfers, Work from home approvals.
  • Filing Domestic service procurement forms and Obtaining approvals from Assessing officer (AO).

You will be the single point of contact for all tax-related master data update and Thryve 'Supplier portal' related tax workflow approvals. You will also assist in financial books close process monthly from general taxation POV, prepare compliances calendar and track Statutory instances and notices for assessment / litigation, and assist Sr Manager Finance on special projects on taxation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding of Direct and Indirect taxation and MCA-related legislations.
  • Prior experience in return filing, co-ordination with Auditors, tax advisers and consultants.
  • Experience in handling personal hearings/interactions with officers/authorities would be an added advantage.
  • The ability to learn end-to-end finance functional areas quickly.
  • Excellent teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • An analytical mind to analyze variance compliances vis-à-vis business operating model and communicate proactively.
