About this role

We're seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to collaborate with our data team in India.

This is a great opportunity to work on complex data challenges, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and help shape the future of Business Intelligence within our organization.

  • Work with business and technical teams to gather and understand data requirements;
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Business Intelligence solutions;
  • Define and document data models, structures, and data flows;
  • Evaluate data quality, completeness, and consistency across systems;
  • Contribute to the growth and scalability of our data infrastructure;
  • Perform troubleshooting and provide support for existing BI tools and systems;
  • Participate in code reviews and promote best practices within the team;
  • Provide production support as part of the team's rotation.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience;
  • 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering, or data warehousing;
  • Strong proficiency in ETL pipelines and Python;
  • Advanced SQL skills including complex queries and performance tuning;
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS and Snowflake;
  • Experience integrating and processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data design skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with star schema design, including fact tables, grain levels, and slowly changing dimensions;
  • Familiarity with database programming languages and both relational and columnar database systems;
  • Experience with Matillion, Databricks, and PySpark;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
