Senior Data Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of our data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with expertise in Snowflake security, SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. They will work closely with DW/BI leads to understand new ETL pipeline development requirements and ensure seamless execution.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake security features and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects.
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling concepts.
  • Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment with tools like Terraform, CircleCI, and GIT.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile methodology with multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Orchestrate Data Pipelines

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of experience in data warehouse/ETL projects. A Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required. The salary range for this position is competitive and based on experience.
