The role of an AWS Engineer with GenAI involves deploying, configuring and ensuring the reliability of product demo environments on AWS.

This requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Terraform for automation and strong expertise in GenAI or ML services like Bedrock and SageMaker.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, provision and maintain demo environments leveraging EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, API Gateway, CloudWatch and AWS Glue.
  • Create and maintain Terraform modules to automate environment provisioning, resets and decommissioning.
  • Integrate GenAI solutions such as Bedrock and SageMaker for scenario automation and real-time demo enrichment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate scenarios and implement custom flows.
  • Implement RBAC, feature flag toggling and configuration management using AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig.
  • Ensure environmental health through automated monitoring, alerting and load testing.
  • Support QA gates, metrics capture and post-demo knowledge management.
  • Provide secondary support for data ingestion, transformation and analytics using AWS Glue, Redshift and Athena.
