Medical Coder - Radiology Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team in a dynamic office environment.

Job Description:

As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing radiology reports to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.

Key responsibilities include ensuring coding compliance in accordance with ACR, CMS, and payer guidelines.

You will also code various radiology modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation oncology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in radiology coding (IR preferred)
  • MIPS Coding is Mandatory
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes
  • Familiarity with payer-specific rules and LCD/NCD policies
