Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical design professional to spearhead the development of innovative projects in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive designs for projects, incorporating expertise in Solid Works software and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Revise existing products or designs to enhance efficiency, performance, and usability.
  • Oversee the process of transforming designs into reality, collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure effective project execution.
  • Utilize mathematical knowledge and skills to design solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Conduct research and assessments to evaluate the environmental impact, safety, and feasibility of designs.
  • Design and manage sheet metal components and hardware bills of materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in Solid Works (3D CAD) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (G.D.&T).
  • Familiarity with material selection and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in sheet metal and parts design.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation systems.
  • Understanding of standard bought-out parts.
