The successful candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in managing complex database change projects, with a focus on Liquibase, CICD/Jenkins, GitHub, and Docker.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing database change scripts using Liquibase, encompassing table modifications, data migrations, and stored procedure updates. You will also configure and maintain Liquibase settings and properties for various environments, including connection details, versioning strategies, and rollback plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Liquibase Configuration and Management: Install, configure, and manage Liquibase for database change management across multiple environments.
  • Database Change Scripts: Design, create, and manage database change scripts using Liquibase, encompassing table modifications, data migrations, and stored procedure updates.
  • Liquibase Settings and Properties: Configure and maintain Liquibase settings and properties for various environments, including connection details, versioning strategies, and rollback plans.
  • Platform Integration: Integrate Liquibase with diverse platforms such as OnPrem, AWS, etc., ensuring compatibility and optimal utilization of platform-specific database management services and servers.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with infrastructure teams to provision and configure databases for different platforms, optimizing performance, security, and scalability.
  • Pipeline Integration: Work closely with different teams to seamlessly integrate Liquibase into complex CICD pipelines, leveraging automation scripts, version control system hooks, and build release management tools.
  • Version Control: Integrate Liquibase with version control systems, such as Git, SVN, to ensure proper tracking and versioning of database changes.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in DevOps engineering, with a focus on database change management.
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing complex database change projects, with a focus on Liquibase, CICD/Jenkins, GitHub, and Docker.
  • Expertise in design, creation, and management of database change scripts using Liquibase.
  • Strong knowledge of Liquibase settings and properties, including connection details, versioning strategies, and rollback plans.
  • Experience integrating Liquibase with diverse platforms, such as OnPrem, AWS, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams to provision and configure databases for different platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CICD pipelines and ability to integrate Liquibase into complex pipelines.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, SVN, and ability to integrate Liquibase with these systems.
