You will be responsible for coordinating with upstream supply chain partners to ensure that customers receive high-quality support through sustainable standards.

Responsibilities:
• Inventory Planning: Gain insight into each operating company's business model and their respective inventory requirements. Define and manage inventory as per forecasting and analytics at SKU level. Close coordination with the business team is essential.
• Order Management: Create purchase orders according to business needs, ensuring price, quantity, and parts. Coordinate with overseas manufacturing teams for order confirmation and required documents to initiate logistics.
• Imports & Logistics: Handle imports/exports for trade/non-trade/service business requirements. Select supply chain partners based on efficient pricing and quality. Monitor shipments as per defined TAT. Coordinate with customs clearing agents, address custom queries, and ensure availability of required documents for regulatory compliance. Work with the finance team for duty payments and ensure GRN of goods upon receipt in ERP as per Warehouse SLA's.
• Master Data Management: Create and manage item masters and customer masters.
• Partner/Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate partners based on business needs. Collaborate with vendors and drive Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Process vendor invoices for warehouse, clearance, and freight with proper validation. Regularly monitor and measure performance. Maintain contract records.
• Customer/Stakeholder Management: Engage with operating company operation teams to understand operational requirements. Communicate and update sales teams and operating company supply chain teams on operational and mandate requirements to ensure smooth logistics flow. Effectively monitor and measure risks related to costing, freights, and operational obligations at customs.
• Reporting & MIS: Maintain regular MIS data - Import/Export tracker, PO reports, Freight Report, Shipment Tracker, and monthly operational MIS. Monitor and maintain BOE's for filing, bond execution at ports, SVB records, invoice, and payment records. Ensure effective cost management on operations like freight, customs, warehousing, administration, and logistics.

Critical Success Factors:
• Keen customer focus and value-driven working approach.
• Effective inbound logistics management with on-time delivery ensuring process compliance.
• KPI-driven operations to ensure effective cost management in freight forwarding and inbound logistics.
• Coordination between upstream and downstream supply chain partners.
• Effective inventory management of high-mix products while ensuring compliance and TAT.
• Sound understanding of risk management and regulatory compliances applicable to the business.
• Liaising with business partners and associates effectively. Drive SLA's with supply chain partners to meet set performance standards. Display flexibility and adaptability towards a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications:
• Graduate from a reputable institute, preferably B.E./ B. Tech.
• Postgraduate or Certificate in Operations Management will be an advantage.

Experience:
• 6-10 years overall experience in supply chain operations management.
• At least 5-7 years' experience in managing imports channel partners.
• 5-7 years' experience in handling EXIM logistics operations.
• Preferably 3-5 years' experience in a multi-product company.
• Experience working in MNC's is desirable.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferable.
