Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and operational excellence of financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reliability & Availability: Ensure financial platforms meet defined performance, reliability, and uptime standards.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Incident Response: Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on reliability and availability.
  • Experience with automation tools such as scripting languages (e.g., Python) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus) and logging frameworks (e.g., ELK).
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
