We are seeking a skilled professional to lead statistical programming activities for several studies or as a Lead/Programmer for medium to large-sized projects in phase I to IV clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead statistical programming activities, including trial programming and programming strategies at study or project level.
  2. Co-ordinate activities of programmers, either internally or externally, and make statistical programming decisions.
  3. Act as functional manager for local associates, providing supervision and advice on functional expertise and processes.
  4. Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and summarize/discuss status of deliverables and critical programming aspects.
  5. Review eCRF, discuss data structures, and review activities to ensure project-level standardization and efficient CRT production.
  6. Comply with industry standards (e.g. CDISC) and assess additional programming requirements.
  7. Provide and implement statistical programming solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and acting as a programming expert in problem-solving aspects.
  8. Ensure timely and quality development and validation of datasets and outputs for CSRs, regulatory submissions, safety reports, publications, post-marketing activities, or exploratory analyses.
  9. Responsible for quality control and audit readiness of all assigned statistical programming deliverables and accuracy and reliability of statistical analysis results.
  10. Maintain up-to-date advanced knowledge of programming software (e.g. SAS) and industry requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS/MS or international equivalent experience in statistics, computer science, mathematics, life sciences, or related field.
  • Languages: Fluent English (oral and written).
  • Experience:
    • Strong programming skills in R, Python, and SAS.
    • Advanced experience in contributing to statistical analysis plans and/or constructing technical programming specifications.
    • Good understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to Statistical Programming (e.g. GCP, study procedures).
    • Proven communications and negotiation skills, ability to work well with others globally and influence.
    • 7+ years of work experience in a programming role preferably supporting clinical trials or in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Experience in HTA /HEOR is preferable.
