Job Description:

The CAE Simulation Engineer will be responsible for independently executing simulation activities with a focus on component-level safety systems, particularly steering wheels. Proficiency in tools such as Hypermesh, Abaqus, and LS-Dyna is expected.

Key responsibilities include executing meshing and simulation projects with minimal guidance, delivering quality results on time, learning and adopting new tools and methods to execute diverse tasks, supporting simulation activities across multiple technical centers, taking ownership of personal deliverables and team activities, performing conclusive analysis of test and simulation results to drive improvements, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and being flexible to work in different shifts to support multiple ALV sites.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Certifications/Accreditations: Trainings and certifications related to CAE software are preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant CAE experience in the automotive domain.
  • Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi.

Required Skills:

  • FEA Tools: Pre-Processor (Hypermesh, Abaqus CAE), Solver (Abaqus, OptiStruct, LS-Dyna).
  • Programming skills for pre/post-processing are an added advantage.
