As a Design Innovator, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to create cutting-edge solutions for mechanical equipment in the offshore wind market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare detailed report figures and drawings as directed.
  • Perform design changes and improvements in a timely manner, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Estimate, plan, and coordinate marine operation projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers to align on deliverable timelines and schedules.
  • Perform quality control checks on your own work to ensure compliance.
  • Inform and manage the engineering team about project progress.
  • Participate in project review sessions and meetings with representatives from other disciplines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in design projects in the marine/offshore/structural industry is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or a comparable field is essential.
  • Expert-level knowledge in CAD software Solid Edge and AutoCAD is necessary.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and convert 2D to 3D models is crucial.
  • Highly organized self-starter able to prioritize work to meet changing timelines.
  • Document control skills are vital.
  • Good experience in performing hand calculations and interpreting results.
  • Collaborate efficiently with team members.
  • Open to travel offshore.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
