Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to join our team as a senior data engineer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable data processing solutions using PySpark.
This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, effective collaboration, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines on platforms like AWS EMR or Databricks.
- Design and implement robust data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment logic.
- Collaborate with architects and analysts for effective data modeling and integration strategies.
- Build and manage API-based integrations between systems.
- Optimize data processing jobs for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality data throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related and performance issues.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in PySpark and distributed data processing.
- Strong command of Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and DataFrames.
- Deep expertise in data warehousing, ETL workflows, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
- Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Step Functions).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
