Reservoir Characterization Specialist

The role focuses on reservoir characterization through advanced petrophysical evaluations. This involves sophisticated log analysis, core-log integration, and application of digital techniques to enhance reservoir understanding and inform investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Petrophysical assessments for exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
- Design logging programs (LWD/Wireline) including tool selection, vendor coordination, and real-time monitoring.
- Conduct formation evaluation porosity, saturation, lithology, and hydrocarbon volumes and integrate results into subsurface models.
- Support drilling operations by providing real-time decision-making insights.
- Coordinate coring activities and associated laboratory studies.
- Ensure data integrity across all acquisition phases through field quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver petrophysical insights and optimize data acquisition strategies.
- Analyze advanced logs and develop workflows for evaluating conventional, unconventional, and tight reservoirs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Geophysics from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Petrophysics within the oil & gas industry.
- Ability to travel offshore for rig site operations and field quality control.
- Proven track record in offshore exploration, appraisal, and development projects.
