We are seeking a seasoned Product Development Engineer to spearhead the creation and maintenance of technical product drawings for our premium furniture and home lifestyle products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain detailed technical product specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless execution of production plans.
  • Work closely with design and operations teams to balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability, driving innovation in product development.
  • Integrate customer feedback into product development cycles, prioritizing user-centric design principles.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new designs, materials, and joinery methods to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Support quality control and testing for durability, ergonomics, and usability, guaranteeing high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and version control for product designs, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the development process.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of engineering experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), with experience in designing complex products.
  • Detailed understanding of materials, joinery, and manufacturing processes, with knowledge of industry-standard practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical implementation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with product testing and standardization, with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
  • Possess a passion for design and innovation, with a strong interest in the furniture/home lifestyle industry and its latest trends.
