Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, build and maintain our scalable, secure and reliable Google Cloud infrastructure. In this vital role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing and managing a highly available Google Cloud environment that meets our business needs.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools. You will also have strong knowledge of GCP networking (VPC, Cloud DNS, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN) and expertise in troubleshooting and debugging cloud networking, storage and security issues.

  • Architect solutions with cost optimization in mind using Google Cloud Billing and Cloud Cost Management tools.
  • Implement robust security practices and enforce security policies using Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Security Command Center.

You will work closely with software engineers, SREs and DevOps teams to support deployments and maintain GitOps standard processes for cloud infrastructure versioning. The ability to work effectively with global virtual teams and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, cloud networking and security.   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field with 6-8 years of hands-on cloud experience.
