We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Azure and Databricks.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on problem solver who can ensure efficiency in their own work while also helping the wider team become more productive and technically stronger.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Azure and Databricks, as well as strong knowledge of modern data architectures such as Lakehouse and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with at least 5 years hands-on experience in Azure & Databricks
  • Databricks (Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles, MLflow basics, Unity Catalog)
  • Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL)
  • Python, SQL, Spark with proven performance optimization skills
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, governance)
  • Track record of efficient delivery and helping teams accelerate execution
  • Experience with AI-driven development to accelerate coding, improve productivity, and maintain high-quality implementations
