Electrical Maintenance Professional

This is a leadership role that oversees all electrical maintenance activities in the plant, ensuring safe execution and optimal equipment performance. Directs preparation of maintenance programmes and implements them as per established procedures.

  • Manages and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitors mechanical equipment performance and cost, providing recommendations for enhancement.
  • Recommends alternative maintenance frequencies based on equipment history or monitoring surveys.
  • Liaises with sectional heads to coordinate inter-discipline work activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviews requirements for new equipment or major repairs, evaluating existing solutions.
  • Ensures no material shortage and delivered materials meet required standards.
  • Optimizes consumables consumption as per annual business plans.
Requirements:
  • Carry out daily 5S activities on the shop floor.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees working inside the plant premises.
  • Provide regular PEP talks/TBT to all employees before starting operational or maintenance activities.
Goals:
  • Drive continuous improvement projects for improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Perform 7 QC tool-based analysis on quality issues/rejections and suggest changes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance and proper documentation as per IMS standards.
Leadership:
  • Complete department performance reviews within deadline.
  • Conduct skill assessments and work towards improving individual skills.
  • Encourage team members' participation in employee engagement activities.
