About the Job

The role of Photo Editor is a key position in our creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and retouching photographs to meet high standards, collaborating with photographers and clients to understand their vision and deliver polished images.

Key Responsibilities

  • Photo Editing and Retouching

  • Image Enhancement: Adjust color, exposure, contrast, and other elements to achieve the desired look.

  • Retouching: Remove blemishes, smooth skin, and perform corrections while maintaining a natural appearance.

  • Background Removal and Compositing: Remove backgrounds, create composites, and manipulate images as needed for creative projects.

  • Batch Processing: Efficiently process and edit large volumes of images for studio projects, events, or client orders.

  • Creative Editing and Effects: Apply artistic effects, filters, and techniques to achieve specific artistic visions.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with clients to understand their preferences and ensure their vision is realized in the final images.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop: Expert-level skills including layers, masks, filters, and advanced editing techniques.

  • Knowledge of Other Software: Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools, e.g., Lightroom, Illustrator, and additional photo editing software.

  • Color Correction and Calibration: Understanding of color theory and color correction techniques, including monitor calibration.

  • Degree or Certification: Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; certification in Adobe Photoshop or related courses is a plus.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Photoshop Designer or Photo Editor, preferably in a studio or professional setting.
