Job Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy Development: Develop compelling communication strategies and narratives for political, policy, and election campaigns.
  • Digital Advertising: Oversee digital advertising strategy and execution using analytics to optimize performance.
  • Content Creation: Build and lead a team to produce engaging content including Shorts and long-form videos.
  • Channel Growth: Optimize videos for YouTube algorithm and analyze performance metrics.
  • Audience Analytics: Understand audience retention, traffic sources, and demographics using insights to inform future content.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of trends, experiment with new formats, and analyze competitor channels.
  • Collaborations: Identify and build relationships with relevant creators to collaborate on projects and expand reach.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication plans ensuring timely response management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Political Acumen: Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, socio-economic issues, and current affairs.
  • Professional Experience: 8-10 years in communications, video production, or channel management ideally in media, PR, or a political setting with demonstrable success in growing a significant YouTube channel.
  • YouTube Expertise: Expert knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
  • Video Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives for video from scripting to guiding the final edit.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing video production workflows, creative teams, and project timelines.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Thrives in fast-paced environments with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
  • Proactive Approach: Willingness to get work done even outside direct job scope with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Analytics Tools: Understanding of YouTube Studio is essential.
