Senior Data Engineer - Mumbai

The role of Senior Data Engineer is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive the development and implementation of our data pipelines, leveraging their expertise in PySpark and Spark APIs.

This position requires a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms, specifically AWS, and proficiency in using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Delta Lake, and Redshift.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and adapting to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex data pipelines using PySpark and Spark APIs
  • Leverage cloud data platforms, specifically AWS, to optimize data processing and storage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop scalable data solutions
  • Implement data quality and performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data processing
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on data-related matters

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on PySpark and Spark APIs
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, specifically AWS
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Delta Lake, and Redshift
  • Strong understanding of data quality and performance optimization techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
