Investment Analyst Position

We seek a skilled and driven individual for an Investment Analyst role.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Investment Advisory & Client Engagement
      • Demonstrate strong client interaction and investment strategies.
      • Develop compelling pitch books and investment presentations.
      • Present market data insights to inform portfolio recommendations.
      • Cultivate effective communication skills in mock client meetings.
    • Financial Research & Analysis
      • Analyze equities and alternative investments through fundamental and technical research.
      • Understand debt securities, including yield to maturity (YTM) calculations.
      • Evaluate various investment options such as corporate bonds, NCDs, and mutual funds.
    • Portfolio & Risk Management
      • Develop strategic portfolio allocation plans.
      • Apply AI-powered risk profiling techniques using our Virtual Risk Analyser.
      • Create a diversified portfolio of assets by allocating virtual money to buy equities, debt, ETFs, and alternative investments like REITs and INVITs.
    • Technical & AI-Driven Financial Tools
      • Leverage AI applications in portfolio management.
      • Contribute to the development of our Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.
    • Capstone Project
      • Prepare an investment proposal that includes:
      • Portfolio allocation recommendations.
      • Long-term macroeconomic outlook.
      • Security/fund selection and justification.

This opportunity will provide hands-on experience in investment advisory, portfolio construction, and risk analysis, fostering strong analytical and financial modeling skills, enhanced presentation and communication skills, and knowledge of AI applications in finance.

We are looking for students from diverse academic backgrounds who possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a willingness to self-learn and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
