Project Manager for Smart Metering and Grid Infrastructure

Our ideal candidate will oversee the entire smart metering project lifecycle, from survey to commissioning. They will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and adherence to contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and deployment roadmaps that meet client requirements.
  • Oversee all phases of smart meter installation, integration, testing, and commissioning, ensuring seamless execution and implementation.
  • Manage field operations, including logistics, installation teams, subcontractors, and OEM coordination, to ensure smooth project progress.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or similar) and relevant certifications like PMP/Prince2.
  • At least 15 years of experience in large infrastructure or utility project management, with a minimum of 5 years in smart metering/AMI projects.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing multi-vendor, multi-location rollouts at a scale of 1M+ meters is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of the smart metering ecosystem, including AMI, HES, MDMS, and communication technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, government tendering, and DISCOM operations.
  • Excellent budgeting, cost control, risk management, and contract administration expertise.
