**Job Title:** Financial Accountant Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • We manage vendor payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
  • We update the supplier reconciliation portal regularly.
  • We communicate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals in a timely manner.
  • We generate weekly AP reports, process vendor payments, and allocate them in our books accurately.
  • We review vendor reconciliations performed by accounting assistants to ensure accuracy.
  • We chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings promptly.
  • We reconcile tax returns efficiently.
  • We review sales entries weekly to identify discrepancies.
  • We review sales tax and prompt tax working file, and calculate use tax accurately.
  • We prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and county tax returns on time.
  • We reconcile balance sheet effectively.
  • We respond to emails within 48 hours as required.
  • We deliver AP reports and internal month-end closing deadlines on schedule.
  • We train new team members and assist with their onboarding process.
  • We ensure adherence to internal processes and systems at all times.
  • We are open to learning new processes and adapting to new roles assigned.
  • We attend internal training sessions for personal and business growth opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

We require a Bachelor of Commerce degree for this role.
