Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and Nest.js frameworks.">
  • Manage databases, integrations, and real-time data flow across platforms.">
  • Oversight of product deployment environments including AWS infrastructure (EC2 instances, Lambda, S3 RDS) and Firebase for authentication, cloud functions, and real-time databases.">
  • Implement and manage Postmark for secure transactional email communication, ensuring security, compliance, and performance for sensitive healthcare data.">
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver end-to-end features and establish monitoring, logging, and CI/CD best practices for deployment.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or Senior Software Engineer (5+ years preferred) with proficiency in Node.js and Nest.js.">
  • Strong knowledge of backend frameworks and architectural patterns (microservices, serverless, REST, GraphQL).">
  • Hands-on experience with Firebase services (auth, cloud messaging, Firestore).">
  • Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure (EC2 IAM, S3 RDS, Elastic Beanstalk) and experience in managing product deployment environments and CI/CD pipelines.">
  • Familiarity with Postmark or other transactional email systems and deep understanding of security best practices, especially with sensitive data.">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize system performance, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and strong analytical thinking.">
