**Job Summary**

 

Functional Verification Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled Functional Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing functional verification of IP logic to ensure that it meets the specification requirements.

 

**Responsibilities:**

Develop and execute verification plans, test benches, and verification environments to ensure coverage and confirm to microarchitecture specifications.

Execute verification plans and define and run system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.

Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the pre-silicon environment.

Find and implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.

Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.

Document test plans and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.

Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.

 

**Requirements:**

Minimum 2 years' experience on AMBA protocols.

Strong background and experience on Coherent Protocols (IDI, CHI).

Strong coding experience in Perl, Python (one of the programming languages).

Strong knowledge of coherency architecture.

 

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bringing up coherent protocols from scratch.
  • 2+ years of experience on Network on Chip verification.
  • 2+ years of experience developing protocol checkers, bridge checkers, VIP integration, and configurable IP verification.
