Job Description:

Civil Engineers design and develop infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and utilities. They work on detailed drawings, schematics, and plans using various software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.

  • Prepare designs for civil infrastructure projects
  • Work with multiple design software to create detailed drawings and plans
  • Perform engineering calculations and simulations

Project Management Support:

  • Assist in project timelines and resource management
  • Coordinate with other engineers and teams to ensure integrated project designs
  • Communicate with clients to understand project goals and expectations

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with structural, transportation, and environmental engineering teams
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of stormwater management systems
  • Ensure designs meet relevant standards, codes, and regulations

Site Visits and Surveys:

  • Conduct site assessments to gather information for project planning
  • Assess site conditions and provide recommendations for design modifications
  • Assist with technical reports based on site evaluations

Technical Documentation:

  • Produce clear technical documentation including reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Review and update design documentation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering design
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in civil engineering software
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and standards
  • Excellent communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
