Cloud Native Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance cloud-native systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable cloud-native microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
  • Architecting and developing loosely coupled, event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for high-throughput messaging
  • Deploying, managing, and optimizing services on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM)
  • Containerizing applications with Docker; collaborating with DevOps to use Kubernetes (or Docker Compose) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub/GitLab CI
  • Ensuring code reliability through unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber)
  • Troubleshooting production issues, architecting design patterns, and ensuring optimal system performance and scalability
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable cloud-native systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and containerization
  • Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
