Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer with a passion for ethnic fashion. This role will involve conceptualizing and designing ethnic blouses that combine innovation and heritage appeal.

  • This is a senior-level position in the fashion design department, requiring 2–5 years of experience in fashion design (preferably in ethnic wear).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Ethnic Blouses: Create innovative designs that blend tradition and trend.
  • Create Detailed Sketches: Develop hand-drawn sketches for new collections.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the product and sampling teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Stay Updated on Trends: Research and stay up-to-date on ethnic trends, embroidery, and fabric innovations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure design feasibility and quality output by working closely with the sourcing and production teams.
Requirements:
  • Fashion Design Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fashion design (preferably in ethnic wear).
  • Hand Sketching Skills: Strong ability in hand sketching and freehand illustration.
  • Degree Required: Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of Blouse Fits: Understanding of blouse fits, silhouettes, fabric detailing, and embellishments.
  • Able to Pay Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, color combinations, and ethnic design sensibilities.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience Working with Saree Brands: Experience working with saree or ethnic apparel brands.
  • Reviving Traditional Crafts: Passion for reviving traditional crafts through contemporary silhouettes.
