Data Scientist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our Data Science efforts.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading data science projects, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis and Modeling: Lead the analysis and modeling of complex data sets to extract valuable insights and drive business growth.
  2. Methodologies and Tools: Develop and implement optimization methodologies, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics for finding the best solution to business problems.
  3. Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of CRISP-DM projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  4. Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and transform them into technical plans.
About Our Team:

We have a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for data-driven decision-making.

We utilize Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance to deliver business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools.

Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts is essential.

Benefits:
  • Prior experience working in cloud technologies (MS Azure or Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.
  • Able to apply independent research, gather information, and provide recommendations on solving problems of diverse scope.
  • Strong statistical/mathematical background.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as SQL and R.
  • Experience working with Spark (PySpark).
  • Understanding and experience in applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory, or Sustainability).

Tasks:

  • Business understanding, Data understanding/preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and Deployment of solutions following CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Creation and following of standards to improve competency quality.
  • Proactive approach for areas where improvement is needed, like suggesting improvements to existing pipelines.
