Senior Reserving Actuary

Are you a skilled actuary looking for a challenging role in the P&C insurance industry?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Reserving Actuary to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and estimating reserves for our P&C insurance products. You will use various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities, including loss development, loss ratio, and loss triangle analyses.

You will work closely with the Reserving Team to develop solutions to complex challenges around risk and insurance. You will also collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and finance, to ensure reserve estimates align with business goals and financial reporting requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions. You will also need strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate actuarial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze and estimate reserves for P&C insurance products
• Use various reserving methods and techniques to estimate liabilities
• Collaborate with the Reserving Team to develop solutions to complex challenges
• Work with other departments to ensure reserve estimates align with business goals

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, or statistics
• Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 8-9 CT actuarial exams
• At least 5yrs+ Actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry
• Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques
