The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects at the LTFS software delivery centre.

As a key member of the SDC @LTFS team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures and best practices that foster timely completion and high-quality deliverables.

This role involves achieving project success while monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented procedures.

  • Provide management reports to inform resource planning, work planning, and effort estimation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to allocate resources and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Maintain and plan skills development to ensure strategic capacity planning at a portfolio level.
  • Ensure IT project scope, goals, and deliverables align with business objectives through collaboration with senior management.
  • Define project success criteria and communicate them to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Effectively manage expectations among project managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage a consolidated view of all IT projects, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Determine status report frequency and content from project managers, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas or mitigate project risks.
  • Provide resource management support to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
  • Develop and communicate best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, milestone tracking, communication, and key performance metrics.
  • Implement and support continuous service improvements to the project management community.
  • Cook, mentor, motivate, and supervise new project teams and contractors, promoting accountability for assigned work.
  • Manage program-level Lessons Learned repository and attend Post-Project Review meetings to capture key improvement areas.
