The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant infrastructure utilizing AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture and Design: Design highly available, resilient and scalable AWS infrastructure solutions ensuring adherence to best practices in performance, reliability and security.
    • Infrastructure Management: Maintain applications and infrastructure employing advanced techniques to optimize configurations and resource utilization. The right candidate must be able to take ownership of application deployment processes, overseeing all stages from development to production release.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes ensuring alignment with organizational objectives Offer technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues including cloud architecture and system configuration problems.
    • Process Improvement: Spearhead continuous enhancements in the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes. This includes creating detailed change management plans and schedules ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the process.
  • CI/CD Development: Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins improving application deployment and release management processes. By automating build, test and deployment tasks the right candidate can significantly reduce manual errors improve efficiency and accelerate time-to-market.
    • Automation of Provisioning: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployments. Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is essential for this role.
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Tuning: Build and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack Implement robust logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues regularly performing performance tuning and resource optimization.
    • Security Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and assessments of systems and the underlying infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices. Ensure that all applications and infrastructure meet compliance requirements such as HIPAA PCI-DSS or GDPR.
  • Deployment Management: Own the deployment process and create detailed deployment artifacts including Deployment/Installation plans with the capability to plan for rollbacks.
    • Knowledge Management: Document and maintain up-to-date records of infrastructure configurations and changes Share processes procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide comprehensive status updates effectively communicate project progress and operational metrics to team members and stakeholders.
    • Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps SRE and cloud environments applying this knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
