Job Summary

Axiado is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our firmware development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality C code for our Axiado Software Stack running on RTOS/Embedded Linux.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality C code for our Axiado Software Stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, assess risks, resolve issues, and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members through documentation and code reviews.
  • Contribute to roadmaps, process improvements, requirements, design, and test plans using agile methodologies.
  • Lead challenging tasks, including system architecture design, integration, and release of our Axiado Software Stack, as well as debugging system-level issues and ensuring performance, stability, and security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in using C code in multi-threaded and multi-process systems in embedded Linux and RTOS SoC environments.
  • Strong software fundamentals in designing architectures, algorithms, data structures, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Ability to take ownership of features and product performance, collaborate, and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Cross-functional expertise in specifications, systems design, and product teams defining product-level functionality.
  • Experience driving improvements and algorithm development to enhance product performance and estimation of capacity.
  • Familiarity with applied cryptography as used in secure boot, secure coding, firmware updates, and diagnostics.
  • Desired expertise in firmware/embedded Linux security and hardening, Linux Kernel/Driver/DTB/BSP, Firewall, HSM/TPM, SELinux, Trustzone/TEE.
