Video Editor Intern

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor Intern to join our content production team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools and a strong sense of storytelling and visual pacing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit educational and marketing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Create motion graphics and transitions using Adobe After Effects.
  • Source and incorporate high-quality assets from Envato Elements.
  • Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and marketing teams for project requirements.
  • Ensure videos are edited as per brand guidelines and delivered within tight deadlines.
  • Optimize video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for different platforms.
  • Maintain organized project files and follow naming conventions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Familiarity with Envato Elements for templates, assets, and design inspiration.
  • Basic understanding of color correction, audio balancing, and visual pacing.
  • Strong creative eye, attention to detail, and a sense of timing and rhythm.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
  • Prior editing portfolio or demo reel is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mass Media, Animation, Design, or a related field.
  • Understanding of YouTube editing styles, reels, or shorts is a plus.
  • Experience with educational or branded content is an added advantage.
