Job Description

We are seeking a talented Visual Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with the ability to create visually appealing and effective visual communications materials.

  • Gather creative requirements and design assets, ensuring timely execution and organization.
  • Create innovative visuals for advertisements, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Organize and assign work within a project management tool to ensure transparency and trackability.
  • Develop new ideas and templates to enhance aesthetic appeal and variety.
  • Establish consistent brand tone and guidelines for junior designers.
  • Delegate repetitive tasks to relevant team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with other teams to obtain timely design requirements and develop processes for completion on schedule.
  • Raise awareness when workload becomes overloaded or priority is unclear.
  • Ability to work under deadlines without compromising artistic creativity.
  • Take feedback on creative works from management until brand guidelines are established or new styles are introduced.
  • Stay up-to-date with brands' social media aesthetics and design evolution.
  • Recruit and build capacity within the department through onboarding, training, and mentorship.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship-building capabilities
  • Knowledge of interactive design principles, including usability and user experience
  • Detailed-oriented and well-organized individual
  • Prior experience with design and editing software
  • Bachelor's degree in a creative or artistic field
